Your Appointment (Nuchal Translucency)

• Have your referring doctor or specialist complete all sections of our Ultrasound Requisition Form.
• Call us at 604-987-9729, and press 1 to book your appointment.

When you call us to book your appointment, we will let you know if there is anything you need to do to prepare for your ultrasound exam.

• You must have a full bladder for the exam.
• Two hours before your appointment, drink 1 litre of water.
• Do not go to the washroom until after the exam.
• If your bladder is not full, your examination may need to be rescheduled.
• You may continue eating meals as normal.
