You will need a referral from your referring physician or specialist.
NSMI offers prenatal ultrasounds. This is a non-invasive medical procedure that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce pictures of your fetus in real time. Prenatal ultrasounds are often used to confirm the health of a fetus, detect any medical issues and verify the gestational age of the baby.
Updated Policy: Partner present in the room during the scan, December 2022
Your partner will be asked to wait in the waiting area until the examination has been completed. The partner will be brought in at the end of the scan to see the baby.
Partner only please, no other family members or children.
Ultrasound hours
Monday and Friday: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:30 am – 8:30 pm
Saturday: 07:30 am to 12:30 pm
Sunday and Statutory Holidays:
Closed
Cameras, Video, Face-time: We request that you refrain from using any type of recording device during the scan.
